This is the description given by the Abbess of Sopewell, Juliana Berners in 1408 the Greyhound, best known in Italy as an English short-haired hound.
These beautiful dogs are unfortunately used for racing in cinodroms (thankfully no longer in Italy) and treatment during his playing career, but especially at the end of it is inhumane.
