
It can happen with a Windows share, especially between XP Professional (which shares) and XP Home (which accesses the share) to receive the following error:

Unable to access XXXXXXX. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Access is denied.
Obviously instead of XXXXXXX will be the name or IP of the computer where you try to access
To solve the problem, not create users, set passwords and so proceed as follows, by disabling anonymous access restrictions.
